Refurbishing and furniture design of a dwelling in Acilia
1994
Rome
Private client
Woodworker Giuseppe Petrilli
This light apartment opens on to the large rectangular living room which communicates with the other rooms. The project has tried, with the use of curved walls, to create a new movement of space and to protect the access to the sleeping quarters. The wall has been finished with a moveable oak bookshelf and with vertical posts of red crystal. An oak floor completes the work. More curved lines are used in the design of the entrance hall, the bedroom and in the kitchen.
